Supportive Opportunity for young people - Join Hub Youth Ambassadors Programme 2023

Music Hub Ambassadors is the inclusive youth board for ASONE Hub, working alongside Music For Good. Through this board, the Hub wants to work in closer partnership with young people. It is a key element in our youth voice strategy which feeds into our wider commitment to Equality, Diversity and Inclusion.  

KEY HEADLINES:

• Young People aged 13-17 can apply themselves or, with their permission, be nominated by an adult who knows them (carers, teachers, tutors, social/youth workers, Link workers etc)
• Combination of online and face to face delivery across 2023/24 - fun interactive sessions with training and socialising built in 
• Travel bursaries are available for those who need it, food provided at face-to-face sessions, and additional support available for any additional access needs (including alternative application methods)
• 'Thank you vouchers' available to those who complete the programme
• We are hosting an online info event over zoom on 7th Feb at 5pm for those who want to find out more 
• We will be working with a group of young people from another Music Hub to select the successful applicants
• We are looking for a diverse group of young people and particularly welcome applications from young people who may have faced barriers to music making/having their say in the past (no musical experience necessary - just a passion for it!)
• Sessions will be run and held by an experienced team with mental health/trauma/SEND informed practice and youth work experience
