Music for Youth Regional Festivals: Applications close on 19th January

This year MusicAbility CIC will be running the Music For Youth Regional Festivals on 6th and 7th March.  It's an amazing opportunity for your music group to perform, enjoy hearing others and get great feedback from professional MFY mentors.  Groups participate in one session a day, usually between 2 and 3 hours long.

Friday 6th March: Regional Festival at Truro Methodist Church - groups are from Primary and Secondary schools, along with area ensembles and choirs.

Saturday 7th March: Frequencies Festival at Redruth Wesley - rock and pop bands - and anything amplified.

There is a charge for entry to the festival, but please don't let that put you off applying.  Full rate is £42 including VAT, but bands on Saturday pay £24 per band including VAT.  If this feels too much for you, then MFY offer some subsidies (Subsidy Application | Music for Youth) and if you really want to take part but don't have any budget for it, then please let Musicability know asap - they might be able to cover the entrance fee for a few groups.  We're particularly keen to encourage more primary schools to participate this year and will prioritise entries from primary choirs and ensembles.
