SONGWRITING COMPETITION

AGES 7-11 & AGES 12-19

The ASONE Hub Songwriting competition is taking submissions now!

We’re running two age categories (7 – 11)  and (12 -19)

Your songs can be about anything as long as you can explain what inspired you.

You can submit your entry as lyrics/ poetry, as a lead sheet, as notation or as a full recording or video of your finished song.

Categories for submissions

• Lyrics/poetry
• Full song arrangement (solo - lead sheet)
• Collaboration project (Lyricist and separate arranger)
• Recording (finished song recording)
• Ensemble piece (performance video/ recording)
• Instrumental (score/ project file, performance video/ recording)

There will be prizes for each category including - studio time, professional recordings of your ideas, live performance opportunities, the performance of your piece with an ensemble and even releases on Spotify.

Your school, college or youth club can ask for help from one of our songwriting tutors to support your class.

Submissions must be received before May 29^th
