ASONE Hub Comprehensive Needs Analysis & Upcoming Audit for Music Education in Cornwall
I am reaching out on behalf of ASONE Hub to inform you of an important development that will shape how we continue to deliver high-quality, inclusive music education to schools across Cornwall.
This year, we will be conducting a Comprehensive Needs Analysis as part of our ongoing commitment to aligning our services with the National Plan for Music Education (NPME).
What is the Comprehensive Needs Analysis?
This analysis is designed to help us better understand the specific musical needs, aspirations, and challenges faced by children and young people in your area. By gathering reliable data and feedback from educators, students, and community members, we aim to refine our offerings and ensure that music education in Cornwall is both accessible and of the highest standard.
Our two-pronged approach will focus on:
- Organisational Needs Analysis: Collaborating with strategic partners, including academy trusts and community organisations, to identify broader educational needs and foster the development of music programs across the county.
- Delivery Needs Analysis: Working directly with music educators to regularly assess progress, gather insights, and continuously improve teaching methods.
Introducing the Needs Analysis Audit
As part of this process, we are conducting a Needs Analysis Audit. This audit is a requirement for all schools and music education providers in Cornwall to ensure we can support your efforts effectively both this year and into the future.
The audit will help us identify gaps, opportunities for growth, and areas where additional support may be needed, ensuring that ASONE Hub remains a valuable resource for you and your learners.
Call to Action: Your Involvement
To make this initiative as thorough and representative as possible, we ask all music teachers and leaders to contact our School and Community Engagement Leads.
They will be coordinating efforts in your area and can provide further guidance on how to participate in the analysis and upcoming audit. Their role is to ensure that every school’s voice is heard, and every student’s needs are considered
