This conference aligns with the Department of Education’s National Plan and the Arts Council’s vision for Music Hubs, focusing on creating equitable, diverse, and progressive music education pathways for all learners. Through our four conference pillars—Skills, Diversity, Equity, and Progression - we aim to address disparities in music education and support educators in delivering high-quality, inclusive, and impactful musical experiences for young people across Cornwall.

●      Skills: Emphasises modern pedagogy, technology integration, and strategies for collaborative learning to enhance students’ abilities.

●      Diversity: Focuses on ensuring inclusive representation within music curricula and resources, providing equitable learning opportunities.

●      Equity: Addresses barriers to participation, providing resources and support to underserved communities.

●      Progression: Highlights pathways and support for continuous musical growth and career development for learners.
