Is your child an aspiring young musician, songwriter, or creative storyteller looking to take their music to the next level?
ASONE Live’s 'STUDIO SESSIONS' Summer School is an exciting two-week project blending songwriting, lyricism, storytelling, and music production. Delivered by Vibe New Music Team and Mode Music Technology professionals, participants will create, arrange, produce and perform their own original tracks using cutting-edge tools and techniques.
Week One: The Art of Songwriting (4th – 8th August)
Explore the storytelling side of music – from lyric writing and narrative structure to harmony, phrasing, and performance. Whether a seasoned songwriter or just starting out, this week focuses on the emotional core of your music and how to shape it into something powerful and personal.
Week Two: Music Production & Technology (11th-15th August)
Take your song ideas and bring them to life with DAWs, Mac computers, digital tools, and AI session musicians. Learn how to record, arrange, remix, and master your tracks – even if you’ve never used music software before.
Choose your own path
- Week One: For those keen to write and shape new songs
- Week Two: For those ready to produce and refine their tracks
- Or join both weeks for the full experience and collaborate with a cohort of like-minded young musicians.

Subsidy information
If the student meets one of the following criteria, they will be entitled to a subsidy:
- Parent/carer in the child’s household, or the student learning, is in receipt of Disability Living Allowance (Personal Independence Payment) (25% = £93.75 per week)
- Currently eligible for Free School Meals (50% = £62.50 per week)
- Currently in Care (50% = £62.50 per week)
- Students with Statements of Special Educational Needs or an Education, Health & Care Plan (75% = £31.25 per week)
