Music Technology Offer to Schools - Free Software and First Access
Music Technology: its tools and learning about them, is often a huge barrier for most, but it need not be.
At ASONE we are placing a focus on advice, support, and guidance for music technology, particularly in composition, recording, editing, sequencing, and mixing using a DAW and associated instruments. We have recently been working with Ableton and Waveform to provide FREE tools and learning resources for your classroom: this includes FE/HE provision and industry-relevant tools that are now commonplace in today's world of music technology. Please review the FREE software (see attached pdf) that is now available to you and your schools, and if it is something you would like to explore, then one of our experts can meet and discuss options with you and your IT teams.
Our Music Technology First Access programme is now back up and running and progressing well across the county, however, did you know that our deliverer Black & Gold Audio also offers progression courses/workshops for students who would like to venture further? Some secondary schools in the county are already hiring a team to support students in Years 8, 9, 10, and 11. Black & Gold Audio is now offering short 'topic' based courses (see our attached menu card). You can select any of these topics, combine them with others to form a desired course for your students, and then have them delivered as after/in-school workshops.
The workshops are not funded by ASONE and schools engaging in these sessions can fund them part Pupil Premium and part parent contributions. The sessions can be delivered to as many students as possible for the 1-hour sessions. If this is something you and your school are interested in exploring email [email protected] for further information.
