Young artists rock at Boardmasters

Published on August 23, 2024
On the 8th and 9th August, the Keg & Pasty Stage at Boardmasters came alive with performances from emerging bands and artists, showcasing their skills to an enthusiastic audience. For the second year in a row, this Cornish music festival provided a fantastic platform for these young performers to display their talent. Their performances were met with positive reactions from festival-goers and fellow musicians alike, highlighting the vibrancy and diversity of the next generation of musical talent in the county.

The performances were organised through a partnership with ASONE Hub and Livewire Youth Music. The collaboration between the two organisations has been key in providing valuable opportunities for young musicians. This partnership emphasises the importance of supporting and developing emerging talent within the music industry.

As we reflect on this year's festival, we’re already looking forward to next year's event. The enthusiasm and success of this year have us excited for what’s to come in 2025. We’re eager to see more young talent take the stage and contribute to another memorable festival as well as similar events throughout the county.

Thank you to everyone who made this year’s Keg & Pasty Stage a highlight of Boardmasters. Your music and energy were truly appreciated, and we look forward to more opportunities to celebrate and support young talent in the future.
