IMPORTANT INFORMATION: CHANGES IN HOW ASONE HUB PAYS FIRST ACCES

Published on September 24, 2024

We’ve listened to your feedback and streamlined the First Access process to reduce unnecessary administration for schools regarding payments to providers.

How to Secure Funding for School Projects (KS1, KS2, KS3):

Visit ASONE Communty Hub website and select the appropriate form based on whether you're working with Early Years, Primary Schools, or KS3 students.

To apply for a funded project, please complete the following:

  1. School Data Submission Form
  2. First Access Project Funding Application
  3. Delivery Planning Form with your First Access teacher
  4. Commit to 10 weeks of learning with your students
  5. Post-First Access Form after the sessions

We will pay your delivery provider directly upon receipt of all first access claims delivered in that term as a single payment.

About First Access: First Access, also known as "whole class ensemble tuition," is available to all students in Cornwall at least once during their educational journey. It focuses on group music-making with instruments and equips teachers with the skills to support young instrumentalists independently.

Key Aims of First Access:

  1. Provide opportunities for all students to engage in group music-making.
  2. Enhance visibility of progression routes within instrumental practice.
  3. Build teachers' skills and knowledge.
  4. Inspire schools to establish their own ensembles for ongoing musical journeys.
