As part of YSWN’s Youth Music-funded WIRED programme, we have produced the WIRED Toolkit which can be found here https://yorkshiresoundwomen.com/resource/wired-toolkit/. Based upon research carried out for YSWN by Anni Raw & Associates, it shares findings around the experiences of girls, women and minority gender young people in music technology learning settings – in particular, the reasons why some disengage from the subject, and ways in which educators can support them and create better learning environments.

Led by YSWN Director Dr Eddie Dobson and WIRED Project Coordinator Chelsey Everatt. Hosted via Zoom, this webinar is ideal for teachers, music leaders, Music Hub teams, and anyone with an interest in developing gender inclusive learning in their music technology setting. You’ll leave the session with ideas and resources to make real change in your classroom or setting.
