ASONE Hub Work Experience Opportunities

We are thrilled to announce the ASONE Hub is offering four exciting Work Experience placements this summer. 

The four placements include: 

• Songwriting: Be part of a creative writing team, hone your skills as a lyricist, collaborate with fellow musicians, and explore the art of sharing and developing musical ideas.
• Music Production: Be part of a production team, learn the process of recording and mixing instruments, and dive into the world of digital tools for marketing and promotion.
• Instrument Store: Support the Instrument Store team in maintaining and assembling instruments, gain hands-on experience in tuning, and learn the ins and outs of how the store operates on a daily basis.
• Office and Events: Shadow our team members and get a behind-the-scenes look at how the Hub runs. Gain practical office experience while supporting the events team with various tasks.

All placements are open to Year 10 Work Experience students, the Music Production placement is also open to Year 12 students.

The Songwriting and Music Production placements are in association with New Creatives Cornwall. Creative organisations across Cornwall are coming together to offer a huge project-based work experience across a range of creative practices, from design to music, heritage to screen and lots in between. Each group will receive the same creative brief and interpret it within their own art form, supported by professional mentors. Their work will be presented in an end of project showcase and elements of the work created will be included in a large 360 production that will be commissioned by Screen Cornwall and premiere later in the year.
