Be Part of the Music for Youth Proms with BBC Ten Pieces
Royal Albert Hall | Monday 10 & Tuesday 11 November 2025
Music For Youth are thrilled to invite you and your young musicians to take part in our largest-ever Creative Project – a spectacular celebration of youth music at the iconic Royal Albert Hall. Over two days, more than 3,000 young performers from across the UK will take centre stage in an unforgettable musical collaboration.
Join 1,500 fellow singers and instrumentalists in a unique creative partnership between Music for Youth, BBC Ten Pieces, ABRSM, and the Royal Albert Hall. This year’s Proms will feature the world premiere of a brand-new commission by composer Aileen Sweeney, with powerful, contemporary text by poet Iona Lee. Centred around the evocative theme of Folklore, the piece promises to be a moving and memorable experience for performers and audiences alike.
As part of the event, your group will:
- Perform a brand-new BBC Ten Pieces commission
- Be part of the MFY Proms opening and finale
- Be inspired by exceptional youth music-making on one of the world’s most famous stages
- If you're looking to energise and inspire your young musicians, this is the perfect opportunity.
Suitability: This performance opportunity is open to groups aged 21 and under, of any ability level.
All participants are welcome – whether you're just starting out or already an experienced player. There will be specially arranged parts for:
- Upper and lower voices
- Instruments ranging from first-note learners to Grade 8 level
Everyone will be supported to take part and enjoy making music together in a fun, inclusive environment.
Cost: Just £5 per ticket
This includes a full day of collaboration, musical development, an unforgettable performance experience and the chance to make lasting memories in an extraordinary venue.
Bookings close 2 October 2025 and are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
