Crofty Trust Project

Christine Judge, West Cornwall School and Community Engagement Lead, has enjoyed working with 8 schools in the Crofty Trust this term on a Cornish music project. The children each took their own Cornish piece to work on with Christine and their teachers in school, as well as learning two items for a massed choir. The project culminated in a fabulous concert held at Camborne Wesley Methodist Chapel with close to three hundred children taking part. Each school performed their own piece to a packed audience in the chapel, with children from ages 6 to 10 taking part. They really raised the roof with all the children singing the Crofty Trust song and Cornwall My Home together. Congratulations to all the young people and their teachers!
