Summer Term Update

ASONE Perform CIC (ASONE) is entering a period of wind down as the Hub Lead Organisation Role and associated admistration contract period approaches its conclusion.

The Spring term represented the final period of programme delivery and we are no longer administering funding or delivery for Summer 2026.

This impacts a number of areas of provision, including subsidised music lessons, ensemble delivery, whole class lessons and any previously agreed or planned projects scheduled beyond the Spring term.

Over the course of this contract, significant work has taken place to build a more open, transparent and equitable offer across the region. This has included widening participation, improving access, and working more closely with schools, partners and communities to ensure that provision reflects local need.

That work does not sit with any one organisation, it belongs to the wider community that has shaped it, and we are confident it will continue to develop in that spirit.

Further information regarding Summer term provision will be communicated separately by Arts Council England and the Department for Education.

ASONE remains focused on supporting an orderly transition and handover, ensuring that the progress made to date continues to support young people across Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly.
