Call for performers: Lowender Nadelick, Truro Cathedral: Monday 15th December

We’re inviting youth music groups from across Cornwall to take part in Lowender Nadelik - a Festival of Christmas and Cornish Music at Truro Cathedral on Monday 15 December at 7:15pm.

Who can apply

Any youth ensemble, choir, band, orchestra or school group of any age from across the county. Collaborations between groups are very welcome.

What’s involved

  • A 10-minute performance slot celebrating Christmas and/or Cornish youth music-making
  • Free to enter
  • Supported by Musicability

How to register your interest

Please email Louise Kemp with the subject 'Lowender Nadelik' and include:

  • Group name and main contact
  • Type of group and age range
  • Brief outline of your proposed piece(s)
  • Approx. number of performers and any accessibility needs
  • Any essential technical needs (e.g., piano/organ required, stands, small amplification)
  • Any notes on availability for arrival/rehearsal

Deadline: Monday 27 October, 4pm

We’ll review all applications to create a balanced, varied programme and will confirm if your application has been successful after the deadline, along with running order, arrival times and other details.
